  • Define unconscious bias, including elements of key research studies exploring its prevalence and persistence.
  • Identify the potential impact of unchecked bias in recruitment, evaluation, student mentoring, and everyday interactions.
  • Discuss individual and institutional evidence-based strategies to decrease the influence of bias in our everyday interactions.
