Research interests: My current research focuses on understanding how recent national health insurance policy changes have affected US health insurance coverage, health care utilization, and health status, especially in vulnerable and underserved populations. In addition, I am interested in understanding the heterogeneity in the effects of these policies by socioeconomic and demographic factors, macroeconomic conditions, and the supply of healthcare professionals.
