Topic-specific Training

Worksafe Iowa provides training to industries, businesses, and employee groups on an as-requested basis. These sessions can be tailored to meet individual needs and topics. Training may be geared toward management or employee audiences. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Blood-borne pathogens
Breath alcohol technician certification
Calibration technician certification for the Alcomonitor CC
Chemical exposures
Drug-free workplace training for employees
Drug-free workplace training for supervisors
Ergonomics
First aid and CPR
Hazard communication / right to know
Noise
Personal protective equipment (respirators, respirator fit-testing)
