Recent biostats alumna develops model to improve clinical trials process

Recent biostatistics graduate Alexandra Curtis (20PhD, 17MS) developed a statistical model for determining the best doses of new drugs and treatments that balances safety and efficacy for patient subgroups. She'll continue to pursue interdisciplinary research at the pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly and Company.

The College of Public Health is accepting nominations for its 2021 Outstanding Alumni Awards. This award program recognizes outstanding alumni in two categories: first, recent graduates who have completed College of Public Health programs within the past ten years and, second, other alumni for accomplishments throughout their careers.
