Comparative Effectiveness Research for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Nighttime Dosing of Anti-Hypertensive Medications: A Pragmatic Clinical Trial

This study will involve conducting a simple and practical clinical trial to determine if taking medication for high blood pressure at night, as opposed to in the morning, lead to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease in patients with hypertension. The study will collect data from electronic medical records and from personal health records and will use an innovative website to collect informed consent from patients.

The goal of this project was to evaluate risk factors for and outcomes of secondary conditions overall, with a specific focus on adverse drug reactions (ADRs), among a population-based cohort of 2,384 persons aged 18 and over with mobility disablement sampled from Medicare aged and Medicare disabled enrollment files (the Prevention of Secondary Conditions study). The grant was funded by CDC.
