Student Computing Facilities

The College of Public Health offers four computing facilities for its students, including two computer labs and two computer classrooms. These student computing facilities are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Some doors may require keys or card swipe for entrance. All students should have swipe card access to all General Labs. If not, please contact Student Services. The computer classrooms may be reserved for classes during regular business hours. Additionally, there are three collaboration spaces available in the student commons area.

General Labs for All CPH Student Use

S207 Computer Lab

This lab is conveniently located next to the CPH Student Commons. This lab includes dual displays and powered desks that raise and lower. This lab has access to color and black and white printing.

C201 Computer Classroom

This computer classroom is equipped with an instructor computer and 28 student computers. This classroom has access to color and black and white printing.

C401 Computer Classroom

This computer classroom is equipped with an instructor computer and 28 student computers. This classroom has access to color and black-and-white printing.

Student Commons (Second Floor) Collaboration Spaces

We have three collaboration spaces on the second floor of the Student Commons, which includes large wall-mounted displays where students can work in small teams. Students can utilize the built-in computer or connect their own laptops to collaborate.

Limited Use Labs

Biostatistics

The Department of Biostatistics has their own work area; this computer lab for Biostatistics students only is located in C310 CPHB. This classroom has access to color and black-and-white printing.
