Rebalancing Health Care forum to be held Nov. 20

Published on July 29, 2014

Rebalancing Health Care in the Heartland — a non-partisan, one-day conference focused on the promise of health care innovation, emerging models, health plans and their markets, and population health tools and strategies — will be held Nov. 20 at the Embassy Suites in Des Moines. This is the seventh forum in a series on health care in Iowa.

The Rebalancing Health Care in the Heartland forum series facilitates a public discussion about health care in Iowa. The forums define key challenges in providing high quality health care across Iowa; assess the potential impact of contemporary economic, demographic, and political realities; debate strategies and identify viable solutions for consideration by Iowa’s policymakers, and anticipate new and emerging trends that may impact the provision of high quality health care to the people of Iowa.

Registration for Rebalancing Health Care in the Heartland will open in September. This series is hosted by the University of Iowa Health Sciences Policy Council.
