Learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator

Save a life! Learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in case you witness a suspected cardiac arrest. A representative of UI Public Safety will demonstrate how to use an AED and you can practice. Certification is not required to operate an AED.  In fact, bystanders who follow AED instructions can save a life.  All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a demonstration.

  • Thursday, Feb. 18,  at 10:30 a.m. in C217 CPHB
  • Friday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. in 123/125 IREH

Demonstrations will take about 30 minutes depending on attendance, questions, and time practicing.
