The IPHPRP Global Health Case Competition hosts one interdisciplinary competition each year. Students from all UI colleges and departments are encouraged to participate. The top 3 teams will receive cash prizes up to $500 per person.

Once the case topic is announced, teams will have five weeks to prepare case solutions that are innovative, yet feasible. Teams typically meet one to two times per week with a total work per person being three to four hours per week, depending on the team. Teams are assigned a faculty mentor, and they can have three one-hour meetings with their mentor during the preparation period.
