Edith Parker, DrPH, MPH, dean of the University of Iowa College of Public Health, has begun her term as chair of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) Board.

Her term officially began after the ASPPH Annual Meeting in March 2026. Parker served one year as chair-elect from 2025-2026, and will serve one year as chair and one year as immediate past chair.
