Nominations for 2025 Outstanding Alumni Awards due March 3
The UI College of Public Health is pleased to announce that it is accepting nominations for its 2025 Outstanding Alumni Awards. This award program recognizes outstanding alumni in two categories: first, recent graduates who have completed College of Public Health programs within the past ten years and, second, other alumni for accomplishments throughout their careers. Becker’s Health Review names Tyler Ust ‘CEO to know’
Becker’s Health Review has named Tyler Ust (MHA20), CEO of Sanford Health Thief River Falls, to the 2024 edition of its “90 critical access hospital CEO’s to know.” This annual list recognizes leaders who excel in expanding services, recruiting and retaining top providers and building key partnerships to ensure their hospitals remain vital to their communities. Bill Field, Katie Jones honored at the Iowa Cancer Summit
CPH alumni Bill Field (94PhD) and Katie Jones (12MPH) were recently honored at the Iowa Cancer Summit for their work. Field was posthumously awarded the George Weiner Cancer Control Visionary Award and Jones received the Spirit of Collaboration Award for connecting cancer control partners across the state for over a decade.
