Community and Behavioral Health invites participants for NAMIWalks 2024

Faculty and staff in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health invite others to lace up their sneakers and join Team CBH for NAMIWalks 2024, a community event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health.

NAMIWalks Johnson County will take place Saturday, May 4, at the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, 579 McCollister Blvd. in Iowa City.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., entertainment and activities follow at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

University of Iowa President Barbara Wilson will be the keynote speaker and will lead the walk. Funds raised through this event support mental health education, advocacy, and programs to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
