COVID-19 Flex Funding Award applications due April 19

Goal: Recognizing that this year has brought many challenges to public health research, the CPH Research Office is offering COVID-19 Flex Funding. This research funding program is designed to be a very flexible small award in support of research or to overcome research delays due to COVID-19.
Examples of potential activities that can be funded include but are not limited to:
- Prepare manuscripts (e.g. funds could be requested for student/editor support or statistical consultation)
- Activities to finalize a project (e.g data analysis and dissemination of results)
- Bridge funding to support activities leading to a new proposal
- Activities that help build a national profile or reputation in the field of specialty
- Engage with a new collaborator to expand a research team or network
- Support for junior faculty involved in community-based or community-based participatory research, such as staff or GRA assistance for partnership establishment or maintenance.
- Support to pay a technical writer to help with a proposal or paper
- Funds for a biostatistical consultant
- Funds to support an undergraduate or graduate student to finalize a project
Who is eligible: CPH primary faculty, all tracks
Award amount: anticipate an average of $5,000; a maximum of $10,000 but must be well justified

Proposals due: Monday, April 19, 2021. Awardees will be notified in May.
