CPH Board of Advisors Student Award
The CPH Board of Advisors Student Award recognizes three College of Public Health students – one undergraduate student, one academic degree-seeking graduate student, and one professional degree-seeking graduate student – whose research or practice experience as a student in the college demonstrates commitment to one or more of the College’s Collective Areas of Excellence. Annually, the award recipients are presented with $500 and a plaque at the Board of Advisors meeting in April.
Collective Areas of Excellence
- Community Engagement: Building partnerships to improve and sustain public health.
- Comparative Effectiveness: Using research to identify the most effective public health approaches.
- Rural Health: Increasing the quality of life for rural people and communities in Iowa, the US, and the world.
