Please join us for the 9th Annual Occupational Health & Safety Student Research Conference at the University of Iowa College of Public Health (145 N. Riverside Drive, Iowa City) on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 9:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This event provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and collaborators across campus and the region to learn about innovative occupational health and safety research and practice being conducted by students and gives students an opportunity to showcase their involvement in this important field.
The half-day conference will feature poster presentations and 3-minute research and internship presentations by students. The conference will open with a keynote on training and education for older workers delivered by Cal Halvorsen of Washington University-St. Louis and conclude with a professional development session. Lunch is provided.
This conference is mandatory for all Heartland Center trainees.
