Call for breakout session abstracts – 2025 MRASH Conference
Published on July 17, 2025
Consider submitting a breakout session abstract for the 2025 Midwest Rural Agricultural Safety and Health (MRASH) Conference, Nov. 13-14 at Hotel Millwright in Amana, Iowa.
Breakout sessions abstracts can cover either a single research or outreach project presentation (20 minutes presentation, 10 minutes Q&A) or a round table session (60 minutes with multiple presenters on the same topic). Abstracts for breakout sessions are due Aug. 10, 2025. Breakout sessions will be held on Friday morning, Nov. 14.
This year’s conference theme recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of the people, animals and plants in agriculture along with their shared environments. This One Health approach is important to address complex health issues such as zoonotic and emerging infectious diseases. By using this approach, we build better communication and cooperation across many partners, respond more swiftly to outbreaks and promote sustainable solutions locally, nationally and globally.
