Gentry named President and CEO of AUPHA

Dan Gentry, adjunct clinical professor of health management and policy, has been named president and chief executive officer of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). He will assume the role on March 16, 2020.

From 2016-2020, Gentry served as director of the College of Public Health’s Master of Health Administration program, helping to guide the program to successful accreditation and the No. 8 position in the latest US News and World Report ranking of health care management programs.

“I am thrilled for the opportunity to serve as the next President and CEO of AUPHA,” said Gentry in a statement released by AUPHA. “It’s the role of a lifetime, especially for someone like me who’s passion has been, and is, helping our educational programs, leadership, and students and alumni excel and succeed.”
