The University of Iowa is part of a great opportunity to show the country that Iowa can still be outdoorsy even without mountains, oceans, and forests! The UI has been selected as one of ten colleges across the country that will compete in the Outdoor Nation Challenge, an eight-week contest to encourage young people and communities to get outside and be active. Participants log their outdoor activities online to collect points, and the school with the most points wins the coveted title, as well as other prizes. The contest runs Sept. 27 – Nov. 22.
