Global rural health case competition reveals case to student teams

The Global Rural Health Case Competition has revealed it’s case.

Student teams in the competition will propose short- and long-term solutions to Puerto Rico’s ongoing power crisis, which has been plaguing the U.S. territory since Hurricane Maria devastated the island in September.

The teams are paired with faculty mentors who will help their respective teams present proposals to a panel of judges. The starting point for the teams is a 10-page case document now posted at the IIPHRP site.

The Iowa Institute of Public Health Research and Policy is putting on the competition with help from a variety of partners.
