Participants from the College of Public Health, along with hundreds of Iowa businesses, schools, small groups, and individuals across the state, will be walking 1 kilometer towards a healthier Iowa on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at noon. All students, staff, and faculty are invited to join us by 11:55 a.m. at any of our three walk locations:

• College of Public Health Building – meet in the CPHB Atrium by the café
• UCC – meet on the 2nd floor in front of the College of Public Health space
• IREH – meet in front of the Hygienic Lab main entrance

More than 100 CPH faculty, staff, students, and friends participated in last year’s Healthiest State Walk.  How many more can we get to participate this year? As we approach our fourth year, we need your help to keep the momentum going and make this year’s walk the biggest one yet. Take 15 minutes out of your day to walk a kilometer (0.62 miles) with friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers and be part of this life-changing movement.
