MHA Fall Case Competitions
Published on December 2, 2025
Earlier this fall, students Hattie Dukes, Madison Anderson, Matt Mathew, and Student Observer Maddie Meyer proudly represented the University of Iowa’s Master of Health Administration Program at the 2025 Robbins Case Competition hosted by Baylor University.
The team tackled a management challenge centered on expanding telehealth access in rural areas, developing innovative strategies to improve care delivery while addressing workforce and connectivity barriers.
We’re thrilled to share that Madison Anderson earned the Best Presenter Award and Matt Mathew received Best Q&A!
Two Iowa teams also represented us with excellence and professionalism at the KUMC Case Competition, held in early November, tackling a challenging M&A scenario with impressive insight and collaboration.
Team 1 was comprised of Austin Synoground, April Arend, and Kailey Thomas while team 2 was made up of Meghana Yellepeddi, Caden Rasmus, and Alex Peterson with Matt Fagan observing.
