Need a head shot? Attend the Oct. 28 portrait session

On Oct. 28, College of Public Health upper-level undergraduate students will have a chance to have a free, professional portrait taken at CPHB. An additional open session is also available for any CPH faculty, staff, or student who would like a photo.
These pictures are used by the college and/or departments for newsletters, class composites, web sites, professional activities, and related materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
I can’t make it to any of these times. What are my options?
If you need a professional head shot, the UI Office of Strategic Communications has set hours for walk-in portraits of faculty, staff, and students free of charge. No appointment is necessary. See the current studio hours.
Can I get a copy of my picture?
Yes, you can request a digital copy for your use from cph-communications@uiowa.edu. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing after photos have been taken.
Do I have to get a picture taken?
No, it’s not required. If you do have a photo taken, we ask you to sign a release form granting the college permission to use the photo in various materials.
I had my picture taken last year. Do I have to do it again?
No, you don’t have to have it retaken, but you can if you want to.
I don’t like my current picture. Can I have a new one taken?
Yes.
Do I have to reserve a time for a photo?
No, but please see the schedule above and drop in at the appropriate time.
Who keeps the pictures?
The CPH Office of Communications and External Relations keeps the photos on file.
