Occupational and Environmental Health students committed to protecting the health of workers, the environment, and rural communities are invited to apply for the Craig Zwerling and Nancy L. Sprince Scholarship in Occupational and Environmental Health.

OEH department students in their second or later year of study, and currently enrolled in an MPH, MS, or PhD program are eligible. The application deadline is Feb. 28, 2020.

Professors Emeriti Craig Zwerling and Nancy L. Sprince served the University of Iowa College of Public Health for 20 years. They have endowed a scholarship to support students who will be leaders in occupational and environmental health.

This scholarship recognizes students who are dedicated to careers that “protect the health of workers, the environment, and rural communities — and reduce the burden of preventable injury.”
