Snetselaar named to expert committee on alcohol consumption and health outcomes

Linda Snetselaar was recently named to a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine committee of experts to review, evaluate, and report on the current scientific evidence on the relationship between alcohol consumption and health outcomes. This study will have implications for the next edition of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

Snetselaar is a professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Endowed Chair of Preventive Nutrition Education.
