Congratulations to biostatistics doctoral student Caitlin Ward, who was selected by the UI Council on Teaching to receive a 2019-2020 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.

Caitlin’s award letter noted that “your philosophy of teaching and learning, your classroom evaluations, and the strong support you garnered from students and faculty, made your nomination stand out from among the many superb candidates and clearly demonstrated your excellence in teaching.”

Awardees receive a $1,000 check and a certificate.
