Marcia M. Ward, PhD, has been selected as a member and co-chair of National Quality Forum’s (NQF’s) Rural Telehealth and Healthcare System Readiness Committee.

Ward is a professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy, director of the Center for Health Policy and Research, and director of the Rural Telehealth Research Center. She previously served as member and co-chair on NQF’s Telehealth Multistakeholder Committee for the Telehealth Framework to Support Measure Development, a one-year project that started in 2016.

The 25-member Rural Telehealth and Healthcare System Readiness Committee will meet five times over 10 months starting in January 2021.
