Call for student posters: 2025 Public Health Conference of Iowa

Summer course: Maternal Health in Migrant Communities

The College of Public Health is pleased to offer a brand-new faculty-led global program for summer 2025. Led by Drs. Nichole Nidey and Jonathan Platt, this four-week course will include instruction in Iowa City, as well as one week of travel to Costa Rica. New resource available for Native military families and youth

In honor of Native American Heritage Month and National Veterans and Military Families Month, the Native Center for Behavioral Health has released a new resource, Supporting Military-Connected Youth in American Indian and Alaska Native Communities. This product was created by College of Public Health graduate Marianna Cota (2023 MPH), Yoeme, member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona, in collaboration with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. Published November 14, 2024
