L. Ruby Leung to discuss modeling climate science and Earth systems

L. Ruby Leung, an atmospheric scientist internationally recognized in Earth systems modeling and hydrologic processes, will be the University of Iowa's inaugural "Leaders in Discovery" speaker on April 14. The lecture will focus on cutting-edge modeling techniques and her work on predictions of rainfall and atmospheric dynamics, including its implications for Iowa and the world.  Published March 11, 2025

Mark your calendar for the Iowa Disability Film Festival

The College of Public Health is a sponsor of the 2025 Iowa Disability Film Festival, taking place at Film Scene in Iowa City March 27-29. The festival showcases award-winning films by and about people with disabilities. All films are presented with open captions, ASL interpreters, and descriptive audio. Sara E. Miller advances UI dental science research

The College of Public Health and its Business Leadership Network (BLN) recently announced that five Iowa community organizations will be recipients of grant funding through the BLN’s Community Grant Program. Student Maanya Pandey fights period poverty in Iowa
