Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
The CPH Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee includes faculty, staff, and student representatives. This committee aims to promote and develop a culture of collaboration and inclusion in the college and university. The committee interprets diversity as embracing and respecting all races, nationalities, colors, creeds, religions, age, disabilities, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or associational preference. The committee works towards greater representation of those currently underrepresented in the college and in the public health workforce.
Open to All
The DEI Committee is open to anyone and everyone in the College of Public Health, regardless of identity or experience working in DEI. You do not need to be nominated by a department or current member to join, and anyone can attend any regular meeting. The DEI Committee also forms several subcommittees each year. To be added to the DEI mailing list, please contact justin-goodchild@uiowa.edu
