Sierra Burrell, DVM, has been named the new USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Veterinary Services (VS) One Health Liaison to CDC. Dr. Burrell is with the USDA One Health Coordination Office in the Strategy and Policy’s Office of Interagency Coordination Unit. The CDC One Health Office is hosting Dr. Burrell’s assignment at CDC.

She completed an MPH in 2018 as part of the MPH for Practicing Veterinarians Program offered by the University of Iowa College of Public Health in collaboration with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University.
