Dr. Flores is a Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics under the Clinical Trials Statistical and Data Management Center (CTSDMC). Dr. Flores joined the CTSMDC in 2025 after working nearly five years as a data scientist for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he led and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to advance statistical and artificial intelligence-based methods and tools for analyzing complex biological and multi-omics data. His methodological interests, grounded in his Ph.D. in Biostatistics (2021) and PNNL experience, center on predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, and integrative modeling of multi-view, heterogenous data.
