Biostatisticians share the luxury of building a career in various settings such as academia, industry, and the government. Each career path opens the opportunity to work with investigators in different disciplines and poses advantages as well as challenges. Working in the medical school as a biostatistician is both rewarding and challenging at the same time. In this talk, I will share the lessons learned and the knowledge accumulated in the last 10 years working as a collaborating biostatistician.
