Study examines how HIV self-test kits affect HIV care and behavior
HIV self-test kits were developed to make it easier for people to access HIV testing. However,a research team that included CPH researchers has found that many people who use self-test kits do not go on to receive needed HIV treatment or start preexposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, to prevent future infection. College of Public Health announces the Institute for Public Health Practice, Research and Policy
As part of a reorganization within the College of Public Health, the Iowa Institute of Public Health Research and Policy will be renamed and combined with the Institute for Public Health Practice and the Center for Public Health Statistics. The new organizational structure encompassing these units will be named the Institute for Public Health Practice, Research and Policy (IPHPRP). Published September 28, 2023
