The College of Public Health Research Office invites nominations from CPH faculty members for the 2023 Distinguished Faculty Lecturer. Each year, the college selects one of its faculty members to deliver the Distinguished Faculty Lecture on a public health topic of the nominee’s choice. We plan to host the lecture in person this fall during Research Week. The chosen faculty member should be a primary CPH faculty member on any track, accomplished in all areas of academics, have a record of stellar achievement in research or in the development and advancement of public health policy.

All College of Public Health faculty members are eligible to submit a nomination. To do so, please describe in a short paragraph why you are recommending this faculty member and email it to ericka-klingner@uiowa.edu by Friday, May 26, 2023.

Nominations will be reviewed by a subcommittee and submitted to the dean for a final decision. View a list of our previous Distinguished Faculty Lecturers.
