Cook authors book on clubfoot

Tom Cook, a UI professor emeritus of public health and director of global operations for the UI-based Ponseti International Association, is the author of a new book, Clubfoot: The Quest for a Better Life for Millions of Children, about the world’s most common skeletal birth defect and the remarkable life of former UI physician Ignacio Ponseti, who developed a revolutionary method for eliminating lifelong disability for the 200,000 children born every year with this deformity.
