The UI cultural centers are again hosting their graduation celebrations. Please note the registration deadlines. The entire Iowa community is invited to attend the university’s graduation celebrations.

International Student Graduation Celebration
The International Student Graduation Celebration is held each year to celebrate the countless achievements of international students and their accomplishments in reaching graduation. All graduating international students — undergraduate, graduate, and professional — are invited to participate in this celebration.

Rainbow Graduation Celebration
The Rainbow Graduation Celebration recognizes the achievements of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students, as well as their advocates. This annual event honors both undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who graduate in the fall or spring semester. The Rainbow Graduation Celebration features UI faculty, staff, students, and community members, and is followed by a reception.

Latinx/a/o Graduation Celebration
The Latinx/a/o Graduation Celebration began when faculty and staff of the UI Latinx Council started an event to formally spotlight the achievements and accomplishments of graduating UI Latinx undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Black Graduation Celebration
The Black Graduation Celebration invites all spring, summer, and fall graduates to be recognized. All graduates’ loved ones are also invited to celebrate their accomplishments. Join us in this opportunity to recognize the graduates, and to celebrate the winners of the Black Emerging Leader Award, Black Leadership Award, and Black Excellence Award, which are awarded to students who have impacted the community during their time at Iowa. CIAE End of Year Celebration
The 34th annual Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence End of the Year Celebration, a special afternoon of entertainment and celebration will be held May 7, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Iowa Memorial Union. All spring, summer, and fall 2024 graduates are invited to participate.
