The College of Public Health Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee is pleased to invite you to DEI Bystander Training

Participants will learn strategies for managing difficult DEI-related conversations and scenarios. Participants will explore why conversations around DEI-related topics can be challenging and practice applying strategies. Using concepts from the Calling In and Calling Out Guide from Harvard University, participants will learn how to respond when something problematic is said, how to invite curiosity without defensiveness, and how to respond if they may unintentionally cause harm.
