Research Interest: Sexual and reproductive health; HIV care continuum; psychosocial issues; implementation science; community-based participatory research

Current Activities: Badru investigates psychosocial issues around sexual and reproductive health. Currently, he serves as a research assistant on projects led by Dr. Oluwafemi Adeagbo, including contraceptive use and barriers among women living with HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa, and pre-exposure prophylaxis use among priority populations in the United States.
