The College of Public Health Staff Research Award honors a staff member who has made outstanding contributions to a research project or projects based in the College of Public Health. Criteria include: coordination and/or support of research activities, substantive contributions to scientific investigation, original authorship of scholarly publications, and/or dissemination of results at scientific meetings. Such contributions must extend beyond those normally expected or required by a job description.
The College of Public Health Staff Service Award honors a staff member who has demonstrated sustained and exemplary service to a unit or department in the College of Public Health. Criteria include: a high level of job-specific knowledge, commitment to teamwork and communication, reliability, and dedication to providing the highest levels of quality and service to colleagues. Such contributions must extend beyond those normally expected or required by a job description. Service to the University, community, and professional associations or organizations will be considered in so far as it relates to the nominee’s position in the college.
