MS Degrees

Master of Science (MS) degrees are designed to prepare students for professional career opportunities in which specialized knowledge of subjects of study are useful. Placement possibilities include employment in local, state, or federal health agencies, academic departments within Schools of Public Health or Colleges of Health Sciences, or private enterprise. MS Degrees are also good options for students who wish to pursue further education in PhD programs.

Students pursuing undergraduate education at the University of Iowa may consider applying to a U2G program in the MS degrees listed below. U2G provides an opportunity for students interested in health sciences to earn both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in 5 years. At this time students at our partner schools are not eligible for an MS U2G.
