Develop Skills
What skills will I learn as I take classes (curriculum, facilities?)

You will build on your undergraduate education to develop skills that span the rubrics of industrial hygiene, including how to use state-of-the-art measurement technology, field risk assessment, and management concepts. Our classes involve classroom education and interactive hands-on laboratories, emphasizing the critical thinking and life-long learning. We integrate current events and emerging hazards into our curriculum.

You will learn communication skills, the number one ranked skill sought after by our employers. We teach writing through extensive feedback on laboratory reports, capstone projects, and thesis research. Oral communication is honed as part of classwork, your thesis, and at national conferences.
