MPH Practicum

All MPH students are required to complete the MPH Practicum Experience.  It is a 200 hour work experience that allows students to demonstrate professional competency in public health in a practice setting.  This course is the capstone for the MPH Program at The University of Iowa, and is an integrated application of the MPH curriculum.

The practicum enables students to bridge the gap between the classroom and public health practice.  It is an exciting opportunity to gain "real world" experience that can also help foster relationships among the public health community.
