Research Interest: Indigenous Health, violence prevention (violence against indigenous women), tribal health campaigns

Current Activities: Dara is currently working with the Native Center for Behavioral Health focusing on prevention campaigns and cultural adaptations of EBIs for tribal communities. She is working with a research team on the development of a culturally appropriate, male-focused intervention to transform gender norms and reduce violence against women and girls in peri-urban India, as well as, serving as a community representative on numerous advisory boards for statewide agencies.
