Public Health Strike Force at Iowa

Public Health Strike Force logo

The Public Health Strike Force is a fully student-led organization that serves the public health workforce while providing students with hands-on field training.

The mission of Strike Force is to provide the community with a skilled and engaged public health workforce. Our organization aims to equip members with hands-on training in the field of public health, provide service and support to public health agencies and local organizations, and facilitate connections between members and the communities we serve. We will achieve this through workshops, certifications, simulations, and collaborations, focusing on emergency preparedness and community outreach. These opportunities will augment members’ academic training to develop our emerging public health leaders to be adaptable and capable of guiding programs that improve health for entire populations.
